On World Law Day … Kamal Jamal Affirms Bahrain’s Pride in Its Legal and Judicial Role

On the occasion of World Law Day, I would like to affirm the Kingdom of Bahrain’s pride in its pioneering role in establishing the principles of the rule of law and strengthening the justice system, which form the cornerstone of building a cohesive society founded on respect for rights and ensuring fairness for all.

Under the leadership of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, the Kingdom of Bahrain has placed the utmost importance on developing its legal and judicial framework in a way that keeps pace with global transformations, strengthens the values of justice and equality, and consolidates trust between citizens and institutions. Justice is not merely an end in itself, but a guarantee for sustainable development and the preservation of human dignity.

The achievements realized at the legislative and judicial levels in Bahrain reflect the state’s keenness to enhance stability and provide a secure legal environment that safeguards rights, supports investment, encourages innovation, and empowers youth to participate actively in shaping the future, in line with Bahrain Vision 2030 and its goals of justice and comprehensive development.

I am honored to affirm, on this World Law Day, that Bahrain remains committed to strengthening international legal cooperation, and to sharing its expertise and successful experiences with the global community, so as to be an active partner in all that promotes the rule of law and safeguards justice worldwide.

World Law Day is not merely an occasion to celebrate legal principles, but a reminder of our shared human mission: that the rule of law is the foundation of security and prosperity, and the cornerstone upon which just and stable societies are built.
