Export Bahrain announced that Estedara, a pioneering startup from Bahrain, has been recognised as the "Top Strategic Startup" at the 2025 Creative Business Cup (CBC) Final Competition in Denmark. This achievement highlights Bahrain’s growing influence on the global entrepreneurial landscape and reflects Export Bahrain’s commitment to supporting and promoting Bahraini innovators on the international stage.
Estedara is a leading venture specialising in innovative air-to-water technologies that convert atmospheric humidity into clean, cold, and mineralised drinking water. With the support and facilitation of Export Bahrain, the company was selected to represent the Kingdom at this year’s finals, impressing the international jury with scalable and sustainable solutions that optimise resources and address global water challenges.
This marks Export Bahrain’s second participation in the CBC, following last year’s success when another Bahraini startup secured second place, outperforming more than 44 international competitors in the 2024 finals.
The CBC is a prestigious global competition that brings together startups, investors, and companies from over 80 countries, providing a unique platform for networking, competition, and market expansion. With Export Bahrain’s support, Estedara leveraged this platform to foster collaboration, secure strategic deals, and gain international recognition for its innovative solutions.
Noor Benshams, CEO of Estedara and the company’s representative in Copenhagen, said Export Bahrain’s support enabled the company to engage with potential investors and partners and expand the reach of its clean water technologies. The participation was described as a pivotal step towards achieving Estedara’s goal of delivering sustainable and practical solutions internationally.
